Hawaii Marriage License

For a relatively small fee, a couple must acquire a state license to legitimize their union. It is usually recommended that you apply for your marriage license a month or so before you marriage ceremony. A ceremony can commence soon after the marriage license as been issued. The documents you will be required to produce include a birth certificates and other proof of identification documents. Your tax information and other important documents are also required. In case either of you were married before; you will also be required to produce the documentation. After signing the documents in the presence of a witness, you will be mailed the official license and on your weeding day, you will need to have your marriage performer sign the document.


Hawaii Marriage Certificate

After the ceremony has taken place; you then sign a marriage certificate to show the union is complete and officiated. Your ceremony performer will organize the document and file the signed certificate with the Department of Health.
